“Link” Final Major Project – “Link” is a ligature specimen that dives into the world of ligatures. For centuries we have seen the ampersand used in various formats to this day however, I wanted to dive deeper and create new ligatures which would replace the most commonly used phrases in the 21st century such as “LMK” - “Let me know”, “IKR” - “I know right”. This specimen showcases the concept of implementing ligatures into our daily lives for efficiency and legibility as the Roman scribes did.
