Maanu - 4u Visualiser/Lyrical

A part of the brief was to create something that represented the designers themselves. I chose to represent myself through a music video directed for a Pakistani artist, Maanu. I was able to not only showcase my vision as a director and a designer but also the culture through music. The story line shows the process of a artist designing the title card by hand however, he keeps losing interest and lacks ideas. This directly visually represents the lyrics of the song as it is in Urdu and to communicate with a wider audience, it had to be visually strong. I have been able to showcase my colour grading, filming, directing, editing and designing skills with this project.
